Yamato, Eijiro, Ken, Riku, Yugo, and Joji were all members of the track and field club in high school.
The members were so close that they all wore matching misangas, and they competed as good rivals.
After graduating from high school, the six of them walked their own paths. One day, they received an email inviting them to participate in the game "Run for Money".
[Run for Money ～MISSION IN TOKYO～ to be held! Total prize money over 100 million yen!]
Yamato, who was bored with his unchanging daily life, and the six others with their own thoughts and ambitions decided to participate in the game.
The game finally started with the signal to "release the hunters"! The participants desperately ran away from the hunters.
Amidst all of this, the six former track and field club members, who had been separated, reunited for the first time in a long time.
However, due to their own circumstances, their former bonds had been lost...
In the midst of all this, an emergency occurred! ! Someone has taken over Chronos, the company that manages the game, and some of the hunters are running wild and out of control!?
As soon as participants are caught, they are covered in a black shadow and disappear.
"This is not a game! Run from the murderous hunters!"
The game has been taken over by the new game master, K, and the Wild Hunters!
"From here on, you'll have to risk your life and run."
The run suddenly becomes a game where you risk your life! If you survive, the prize is a whopping 10 billion yen!? A huge prize and a number of extremely dangerous missions.
Who will survive, and will the bond between the six people be restored?
What's more important, money or life? The ultimate "Run for Money" begins!
