Story
This series tells the youthful tale of Shinsengumi members, centering on two original young warriors—Daisaku Kamakiri (Kentaro Maeda) and Ojiro Fukakusa (Tomoya Oku)—who, alongside historical figures such as Isami Kondo, Soji Okita, and Kamo Serizawa, raced through the turbulent era like a flash of lightning.

Ojiro, whose father was slain, joins the Shinsengumi to hone his sword skills and seek revenge. During the entrance exam, he encounters the cool and composed Daisaku. Though his origins are unknown, Daisaku possesses extraordinary swordsmanship and is welcomed into the Shinsengumi as a highly anticipated new recruit.

As they live and train together, the two develop a deep and passionate friendship. However, they are eventually swept up by the tides of history, leading them to a tragic fate where they must face each other in a life-or-death battle.
