Story
This is a youthful chronicle of the Shinsengumi, centering on two original young warriors—Daisaku Kamakiri (Kentaro Maeda) and Ojiro Fukakusa (Tomoya Oku)—as they blaze through a turbulent era alongside real historical figures such as Isami Kondo, Soji Okita, and Kamo Serizawa.

Ojiro, whose father was murdered, joins the Shinsengumi to hone his swordsmanship and seek revenge. During the entrance exam, he encounters the cool-headed Daisaku, a mysterious yet exceptionally skilled swordsman who quickly becomes a promising new recruit.

As they live and train together, a deep friendship blossoms between them. However, they are eventually caught in the relentless currents of history, leading to a tragic fate where they must face each other in a deadly battle.
